You need to be familiar with doing slides on rails/ledges. Don’t try with this trick until you’re comfortable with doing stuff on obstacles of this nature.

Before learning this trick you should be able to ollie, backside 180 and backside 50-50.
Just start in the ollie position, but put your back foot a little more towards the heel side of your board. Approach the obstacle facing it. Ride parallel to the obstacle with some speed. Leave 20 to 30 centimetres between you and the obstacle.
